Seniority at departure
Refers to the employees who left the company split by seniority clusters.
Calculation steps:
- choose your time frame
- identify the employees who left the company in the selected time frame
- for each employee that left calculate the tenure in company (date of departure – hire date)
- create categories of tenure (ex: 0-1 years, 1-3 years, etc)
- correlate every employee with it's tenure category
- count the number of employees in every category
- divide the number of employees in each category to the total number of employees who left in the selected time frame
- express the values as percentages
