Maternity leave return rate
It measures the percentage of employees returning from maternity/paternity leave.
Calculation steps:
- identify the number of maternity/paternity leaves that should end
- identify the number of employees that return and continue to work
- divide the number of employee that return to the total number of ending leaves
Depending on country legislation, employees returning may be forced to return for a brief period of time. If this is the case you should count the employees leaving after the legal period.
