Time to start
Measures the number of days between the date the candidate accepted the offer and the date the candidate starts as an employee.
Calculation steps:
- choose a time frame
- for each position identify the date the candidate accepted the offer
- for each position identify the date the candidate starts as an employee
- identify the number of days between the two dates
- average the number of days
Time to start = start date – offer acceptance date
Relevant dimensions: overall company, company levels, managerial and individual contributors, functional area, key jobs, department, job profile.
