Skill/knowledge closed gaps


It measures the percentage of gaps closed by learning initiatives.



Calculation steps:

  1. identify the knowledge/skill gaps for each employee at the start of the year
  2. count the number of gaps that need to be covered
  3. identify the gaps for each employee at the end of the year
  4. identify the gaps closed by learning initiatives for every employee
  5. count the gaps closed
  6. divide the gaps closed to the number of gaps that needed to be covered at the start of the year

Skill/knowledge gap analysis is made by assessment centers or 360 degree evaluations.

It can also be done through knowledge testing before the course and testing after completion.
