Performance pre and post move

It measures the performance of employees that were subject to a internal move (lateral, promotion, demotion) before and after.

Calculation steps:

  1. identify the employees subject to a internal move
  2. correlate each employee with the performance in their current and previous job
  3. for each employee identify if it falls in one of the categories: same performance, higher performance, lower performance in new job

This is a good indicator if the move was successful or not. Also, you should correlate with the average time to performance in the new job. If the average time to performance in the new job is longer than the first performance evaluation period then you should correlate the employee with the first rating after the average time to performance.
