It measure the percentage of employees who had an increase in performance compared with the previous appraisal out of the total employees with performance appraisals.
Calculation steps:
- correlate every employee with their current and previous performance rating
- identify and count the employees with an increase in performance rating
- identify the total number of employees with performance ratings
- divide the number of employees with increased performance rating to the total number of employees with performance ratings
