It measure the percentage of employees who had a drop in performance compared with the previous appraisal out of the total employees with performance appraisals.



Calculation steps:

  1. correlate every employee with their current and previous performance rating
  2. identify and count the employees with a performance drop
  3. identify the total number of employees with performance ratings
  4. divide the number of employees with a performance drop to the total number of employees with performance ratings
