Lost time injury frequency rate
It measures the lost time due to injuries per 1 million work hours. Injuries counted are those that generated at leas 1 day/shift of leave.
Calculation steps:
- identify the number of hours due to accidents/injuries that resulted with at least 1 day/shift of leave
- multiply the number of hours with 1.000.000
- identify the number of worked hours
- identify the number of full time employees
- identify the number of hours worked by a full time employee
- multiply the number of employees by the number of hours
- divide the value obtained at point 2. and divided by the number of worked hours
