Strategic alignment


It divides the engagement survey respondents into three categories:

  1. engagement towards the organization - employees are motivated by the overall company but don't exhibit engagement towards their direct manager
  2. engagement towards the manager - employees are motivated by the their direct manager but don't exhibit engagement towards the company
  3. strategic alignment - employees that exhibit engagement both to the company and direct manager

Engagement towards manager or company can be measured by different questions that refer to the level of satisfaction against actions, behaviors, colleagues or culture.
