Quartiles are the 3 values that split a string into 4 equal parts.

For internal or external benchmark of salary elements are used the following statistical elements:

Q1 – First Quartile - is the value in the middle between the smallest number and the median of data set. Against this number 25% of the values are below and 75% of values from the data set are above; also known as Percentile 25

Q2 – Second Quartile - is the median; also known as Percentile 50

Q3 - Third Quartile - is the middle value between the median and highest value of the data set. Against this number 75% of values from the data set are below and 25% are above; also known as Percentile 75
